Señorita Flores

I have an admission to make…. I did an awful job at packing for my recent past trip to Los Angeles! Aside from the outfits, accessories and essentials for the actual FABB conference, I neglected to pack just about everything else!  I had no pajamas, no flip flops and only one extra T-shirt (the one you see below).  Considering the desperate and deficient circumstances in which the outfit below came to be, I had no intention of photographing this outfit.  However, after the Lucky FABB Networking Brunch, my boyfriend and I decided to take a stroll around L.A. and head to the Farmers Market for a late lunch and we came across this gorgeous mural on the side wall of a gas station and I just couldn’t resist snapping a few pics!

Pre Lucky FABB Fun

Last Thursday morning I arrived in Los Angeles to attend the Lucky Magazine FABB West Conference!

On our way to our pseudo apartment for the weekend we drove by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and I was elated to see that the Diane Von Furstenberg “Journey of A Dress” Exhibit was still going on! Without any hesitation whatsoever, my loving boyfriend Daniel agreed to accompany me to the exhibit and snap a few pics of me with Diane!

After the exhibit it was time to get dolled and ready for the Pre-Lucky FABB Soiree at Duplex on Third sponsored by SEXY HAIR. The entire upper level of the chic venue was reserved for Lucky FABB-ers and the SEXY HAIR Glam-squad who graciously provided their hairstyling magic to give us Lucky FABB-ers a dash of Hollywood glamour for the night. The highlight of the night was having the chance to meet, chat and make friends with other fellow bloggers attending the conference the following day! Special thanks to Lucky Magazine and the SEXY HAIR Glamsquad for coordinating this lovely meet and greet!

California Dreamin’

Hey Dolls!! Do you know that overwhelming feeling you get when you have a long, time consuming task at hand?  Well, that is the feeling I’ve experienced every time I sit down to compose my post about my recent trip to California.  With an excess of over 500 pictures to organize and choose from, can you blame me?  So, in order to finally get the wheels turning and avoid the stress of a lengthy blog post, I have decided to break up the posts by each region of California I visited.  Let’s start with my first stop….. Los Angeles!

Our main interest in L.A. was visiting and spending time with our good friends Japheth and Adrien who almost a year ago brought one of the cutest, smartest and most charismatic little girls I have ever met into the world.  Her name is Nova Snow and I am totally smitten by her charms.  You will see what I mean in the pictures below.

During our time not spent with the wonderful Nova Snow and her parentals, we did the tourist thing around L.A. and visited The Chinese Theater, Dolby Theater and Hollywood Walk of Fame!  Sooooooooo Hollywood!
