Here’s another weekend casual look perfect for weekend wandering and running errands in style. I got this Adidas x TOPSHOP jacket last year from TOPSHOP at The Grove Shopping Center in Los Angeles and have only worn it for traveling due to Miami’s eternal summer climate.
The athletic inspired trend was huge in 2014 and has carried over to 2015 due to popular demand. Those of you who know me know that I have never been one for athletic wear, but when athletic wear brands (such as Adidas) collaborate with fashion forward retailers (such as TOPSHOP) the outcome of fashionable comfort is simply irresistible.
I hope you all have a fun filled weekend! Thank you for visiting me and don’t forget to stay tuned next Wednesday for my new Wednesday feature in collaboration with Nathalie of Earnestyle – Work Style Wednesday!

Hey guys! I know its been a while, but with all the shopping, wrapping, holiday parties and all around holiday fun its been quite difficult getting myself to “stop and smell the roses” a/k/a blogging in my world! So before we say good bye to 2014 here’s a look I wore a few weeks ago on one of those “cold” days we had!
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and although I plan to post something before New Year’s Eve, I wish you all a Happy New Year in advance!

What can I say … I’m Color Happy!! I perpetually feel the need to throw in a pop of color. Not that I can’t see myself in a head-to-toe monochromatic look, I’m just saying it rarely happens. Be it by way of jewelry, handbag, shoes or accessories there is always room for color in my world! In today’s featured look I went for all of the above, but balanced things out a bit with a classic black pencil skirt and satchel. What do you think?
I wish you all a colorful and happy day! Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Friday Lovers! I’m not going to sit here and blab about my outfit when I know all you’re really concerned about is WHERE I GOT MY SHOES?
Well, the details are below and I just have to say that I was skeptical about the quality of the shoes when I first clicked to purchase them (when you see the price you’ll know exactly why). However, I was pleasantly surprised over the quality of the shoes upon receipt! So much so that well, I bought them in ALMOST every color! Much to YOUR luck they are currently on SALE and with coupon code 35MORE, well you’ll get an additional 35% OFF! I haven’t purchased any clothing from this site, so I can’t speak for the quality of their apparel, but the shoes are above and beyond the quality I was expecting!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for stopping by! Red Patent Leather Studded T-Strap Pumps: Make Me Chic; Black Dress with Stud Embellished Neckline: Calvin Klein (old, but similar here are some similar styles for your to choose from); Studded Clutch (similar here); Studded Sunglases: Payless Shoesource.
Hey guys! Hope you’ve all enjoyed your weekend so far. Last night I attended my sister’s boyfriend’s graduation party to which I FINALLY wore this Peter Pilotto x Target Iris print romper. Yes, I know, I went ham on this collection, but can you blame me? The geometric floral print of this romper (same print you saw on this dress) is striking and very much in with this seasons bold, modern floral print trend!
As irresistible as this little romper is, it’s a romper none the less and even though this was the first romper I’ve worn that correctly fit and flattered my body, once the wheels (legs) started turning (walking) I was quickly reminded of why I NEVER wear rompers. See, I suffer from “hungry thighs” it’s a syndrome prominent in Latina women in which the inner thighs devour and store any fragment of clothing they come in contact with. You ladies know what I’m talking about. That uncomfortable bunching of the shorts in between your butt and thighs that creates the need to stop, squat and pick in the most always unavoidable (non)nonchalant manner.
Knowing this would inevitably happen, I chose the right type of event to don this pretty little thing. A celebratory gathering with chatting, dining and dancing, i.e. minimal walking and mandatory squatting (dancing), yes, this is Miami, squatting is mandatory on the dance floor.
Rompers are absolutely adorable, sexy and versatile for Miami’s scorching hot weather. I really wish I could wear more of them, but for now, my heart is content! I tried something new! Yippeeee!
Thanks for stopping by! HAPPY SUNDAY!
Hey guys! I just wanted to quickly wish you all a Happy Friday and share with you my #OOTD. I wish you all a splendid weekend and as always thank you for stopping by! Purple Floral Print Tank: Peter Pilotto for Target; Magenta Pencil Skirt: GIFT; Blue Strappy Shoes: KAELA by Madison c/o Shoedazzle ; Light Blue Clutch: LOFT by Ann Taylor (old); Accessories: Loehmanns; Sunnies: Rayban 3507 Clubmaster.
HAPPY FRIDAY!! I just wanted to quickly share with you all my #ootd and wish you all a marvelous weekend! The majority of my outfit was purchased at Loehmanns, which as most of you may have heard recently filed for Chapter 11 and after 93 years in business, will be closing all their stores very soon. If you know me, you know Loehmanns is MY STORE (next to Marshalls, of course) and although I am deeply saddened by Loehmanns’ liquidation process, the killing I made at the liquidation sale came of some consolation. If you’ve never been to Loehmanns, well now’s the time. Good bye Loehmanns, its been great! I still haven’t figured out what I’m supposed to do with my Saturday afternoons from here on out, but SHOPPING must go on.
I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank my dear friend Teri Rodriguez (she’s the beauty in the last picture below) for being my go-to photographer and major supporter! Oh yeah, and on Friday’s we wear PINK! Lol!
Fuschia Blazer: Calvin Klein c/o Loehmmans; Black Turtleneck: Max Studio c/o Loehmanns; Necklace: Loehmanns; Black Leather Boots: Calvin Klein c/o Loehmanns; Polka-Dot Skirt: Forever 21; Black/White Clutch: EXPRESS (Christmas gift from my fab sissy, Victoria); Earrings: Shoedazzle; Sunnies: Rayban- Clubmaster 3507.
I’ve become very fond of dressing comfortably in my old age (I just turned 30 last September, lol). Being from Miami, “sexy” is the year round required dress code, but I’ve come to realize that “sexy” is an attitude, not a garment nor body part. Don’t get me wrong, I am a firm believer that “if you got it, flaunt it” (in a classy and time appropriate manner, of course), but the days of wearing “painted on” jeans, midriff revealing tops and stilettos to run errands, go to the mall or grocery store are way behind me. Call me crazy, but it just seems a bit too desperate for me at this juncture in my life.
This past Sunday my boyfriend and I ventured to IKEA in Sunrise to get ideas on making our apartment more “guest friendly.” Have you ever been to an IKEA? They are enormous!! Walking the length of the entire showroom and warehouse will easily make for your workout of the day. I remember a time when I would have been silly enough to wear heels for such an ocassion or at least wedges, but as stated above, those days are gone. Instead, I opted for KEDS, these adorable polka-dot printed pants and a few embellishments here and there.
What’s your comfort style?
