As you may have already figured out, I tend to gravitate towards ultra feminine pieces. When I first saw this floral pastel dress at Zara, I knew I had to take it home with me! I just love the feminine silhouette, soft pastel colors and flirty ruffled bottom. Perhaps that is why I can’t stop myself from finding as many different ways of styling this dress as possible.
You’ve seen this pretty little thing before here when I wore it the Lucky FABB Conference in Los Angeles. I remember walking around L.A. saying “I’m bringing the Miami Pastelitos to Lucky FABB”! Lol! For those of you who are not from Miami, “Pastelitos” are delicious Cuban pastries, but I see no harm in using the word to describe the adorable pastel color palette of this girly dress! What can I say, I’m a dork!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thank you for paying me a visit!
One wardrobe staple you should not be without this spring is a floral blazer. Not only will a floral blazer completely spruce up your office look, but you can also wear it on the weekends (or to the office, depending on the dress code) with tailored shorts and sky high heels to create a chic summer suit. For a more casual approach, I love wearing my floral blazer with a T-shirt (graphic or not), boyfriend jeans and some killer heels. I got this floral blazer last spring from Forever 21 and it’s definitely one of my best F21 finds. This particular floral blazer is no longer available at Forever 21, but below I have provided 4 other swoon worthy floral blazer suggestions!
Happy Monday Dolls! I wish you all a vibrant week!
I’ve noticed myself wearing a whole lot of blue and yellow lately. Although I usually go through phases when it comes to color combos, it’s pretty safe to say that blue and yellow is without a doubt my favorite color combination. I guess its no coincidence, I mean look around……no really, look at the facade of my Sun Fun Fashion page….
Okay, so I love blue and yellow, now let’s talk about my “Happy Pants”! These blue(ish) damask printed pants are another Marshalls #fabfound I scored for only $19.99! “Damask print” is most commonly seen in black and white and most often used in home décor or wallpapering, but as you can see looks pretty fabulous on a pair of pants. Printed pants are a great way of adding a little sass to your wardrobe and your step, wink wink. You can wear them with solid colored tops (as seen below) or if you’re feeling crazy (as I often do) you can go for a head-to- toe mixed print look. Click here, here, here and here for more “Happy Pants” looks on Sun Fun Fashion!
I have an admission to make…. I did an awful job at packing for my recent past trip to Los Angeles! Aside from the outfits, accessories and essentials for the actual FABB conference, I neglected to pack just about everything else! I had no pajamas, no flip flops and only one extra T-shirt (the one you see below). Considering the desperate and deficient circumstances in which the outfit below came to be, I had no intention of photographing this outfit. However, after the Lucky FABB Networking Brunch, my boyfriend and I decided to take a stroll around L.A. and head to the Farmers Market for a late lunch and we came across this gorgeous mural on the side wall of a gas station and I just couldn’t resist snapping a few pics!
Deciding what to wear to a fashion and beauty bloggers conference can be pretty intimidating. After all, the fellow attendees are some of the best dressed women in the country! I had originally planned on wearing a dress I bought online last minute, but when it arrived unfortunately, it did not fit! On to plan B.
I knew I wanted to be chic, current and comfortable and so I arrived at this look here below. As you already know, metallics are one of my top rated trends for 2014 which means this gold lamé, pleated skirt by Ellie Tahari will no longer be reserved for holidays and special occasions!
I had the original buttons on this denim jacket switched for the black/gold trim buttons you see here. This is a fun way of customizing pieces without spending too much money. I think the black/gold trimmed buttons give this otherwise basic denim jacket a little boost of chicness!
